June 2020 Volunteer Spotlight
When Karen Wright took on the Area Coordinator role for Tucson, AZ three years ago, Amy Ijams was the only photographer who stayed by her side as they worked to rebuild the team. Karen is deeply grateful for that. As a teacher, Amy has been an asset in training new Affiliate Photographers with their local procedures. She has willingly provided guidance, mentorship and honest feedback. Amy is also one who does not shy away from difficult sessions. She approaches each assignment with professionalism, compassion and skill. Karen is amazed at the beautiful images she has taken, and has personally learned much from her. The Tucson team altogether is wonderful, but we are especially grateful to have Amy as a key part of it.
Amy Ijams has been a NILMDTS Photographer since July 2014 and has taken 27 sessions.
From the bottom of all our hearts, from NILMDTS Staff and Volunteer Leadership, we thank you very much for all your efforts in serving your local families!
