July 2021 Volunteer Spotlight
We have so many amazing volunteers and this month we are excited to shine the light on Lisa McSpadden. Lisa has been a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer for 15 years! Lisa (Bentonville, AR) has been a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer since September 17, 2006. She has logged 94 sessions but likely has photographed many more sessions prior to the launch of our online management system.
“I cannot imagine the number of families that Lisa McSpadden has blessed in her 15 years as a NILMDTS Affiliated Photographer. Having worked as her assistant and office manager for several years, I’ve seen firsthand the impact she’s had on families in their time of loss and the sacrifices she’s often made to do so. She’s done sessions on her 25th wedding anniversary and the 11th birthday of one of her sons and has gone to the hospital in the wee hours of the morning on many occasions because that is the only time her schedule would allow. Not only does she make every effort to ensure no family is declined due to availability, she goes above and beyond in her service to the families time and time again. Her incredible kindness and compassion have brought comfort to many families through the years, some of whom have even brought their precious rainbow babies to her studio for a newborn session (which was always a joyous occasion for her as well as the families). As the Dispatcher and Area Coordinator for her area, I am so thankful for her service to these families and I know they are thankful for the beautiful images she has provided them within their time of loss.”
From the bottom of all our hearts, from NILMDTS Staff and Volunteer Leadership, we thank you very much for all your efforts in serving your local families!
