February 2023 Volunteer Spotlight

We have so many amazing volunteers and this month we are excited to shine the light on Craig Whisenant of Toney, AL. Craig joined NILMDTS in 2021 and currently serves on our Volunteer Support Team and is also a  Dispatch Coordinator, Dispatcher, Digital Retouch Artist – Level 3, Assistant to Photographer, and Community Volunteer. Craig  has helped provided the gift of remembrance to close to 170 families since he began volunteering.

Jean Forde nominated Craig saying: “I posted a retouching question in the Facebook group after my first session. Craig was the first to answer my question and went out of his way to start editing the session. He then worked with me and looked over my final editing to provide feedback. He went above and beyond in helping me, and I’ve seen him answer and help many others in the Facebook group as well.”

From the bottom of all our hearts, from NILMDTS Staff and Volunteer Leadership, we thank you very much Craig for all your efforts in serving families and volunteers!
