Families Requesting Digital Retouching
Navigating the difficult journey of losing your precious baby(ies), we extend the gift of gentle retouching for the images you’ve captured. Follow these steps to submit your photos:
Step 1: Read and complete the digital consent form.
Step 2: Select images
Before submission, back up your images on the cloud, your computer, or a disk for your records. Choose up to 20 high-resolution images for retouching.
Please note: The digital retouch artist will review and select the best images, considering quality, preferences, and specific retouching needs. Not all submitted images may be retouched.
Step 3: Review our criteria
In cases of duplicate poses, we’ll retouch the best-quality one. We prioritize high-quality images for optimal results. Out-of-focus images will be retouched as best as possible, but some may not be feasible.
For printed photographs, scan them as high-resolution files before submission. Retouching results may vary due to the loss of resolution in the transition from print to digital.
Once you have your digital photos, provide your electronic consent and submit them via the provided form.
Our standard turnaround time is 12-18 weeks. Please understand that being a volunteer-driven service, this period may extend during peak retouching requests. Your images will be securely delivered in an online gallery.
For urgent requests (1-3 images) or concerns, contact us with the baby’s name, and we’ll strive to accommodate your needs.
